Chartered in 1945, the Greater Seattle Chapter of American Jewish Committee advances the mission of
American Jewish Committee by building bridges of mutual understanding and cooperation with Puget Sound’s diverse racial, ethnic and religious communities.

AJC matters because we:
   *
Confront bigotry in order to make the world safer for all people.
   *   Protect human rights and combat abuses at home and abroad.
   *   Promote pluralism and democratic values at home and abroad.
   *   Support Israel's right to exist in peace and security.
   *   Safeguard and strengthen Jewish life worldwide.
   *   Extend a welcoming hand to other groups in our community and around the globe.

We invite you to explore the pages of our website and, if what we do is appealing, please support our work by joining AJC, by volunteering, by donating, by attending our programs, or simply by sending us a comment.

Moshe Dunie, the former Microsoft Vice President of the Windows Division, is President of the Board of Directors and, together with Executive Director Anson Laytner, heads a great team of volunteers and staff in exciting new accomplishments.
