The 2009 AJC Human Relations Award was presented to Dr. Gary S. Kaplan, CEO and Chairman of Virginia Mason Medical Center on June 9, 2009 at the Seattle Sheraton.  The award was presented by Catherine Zimmerman, Chair of the Dinner Planning Committee and Moshe Dunie, Chapter President.

The 2009 AJC Student Human Relations Program presented these three high school students with a $2500 Deborah Rosen Scholarship in honor of their human relations work.  Pictured above from left to right are Elinor Paulus from Ingraham High School, Daniel Nguyen from Franklin High School, Dr. Eboo Patel the Founder of Interfaith Youth Core in Chicago, Dimitri Jai Woods from Lakeside School and Deborah Rosen, AJC Board Member.

The inaugural AJC Distinguished Leadership Award was presented to Deborah Rosen on December 3, 2008 at the Four Seasons Hotel.  The Dinner Co-Chairs for this event were Deborah Jacobs, Yaffa Maritz, and Ann Ramsay-Jenkins.  The keynote speech was given by AJC Director of the Department for Interreligious Affairs Rabbi David Rosen.  (Pictured from left to right are: Deborah Jacobs, Yaffa Maritz, Rabbi David Rosen, Deborah Rosen, and Ann Ramsay-Jenkins.)
