Congratulations
Llewelyn Pritchard!
AJC Seattle was proud to award Llew Pritchard, with the first ever AJC Judge Learned Hand Award at a luncheon held in his honor on September 21, 2011. Llew was selected for his many professional accomplishments, along with his extraordinary philanthropic and civic contributions which have advanced human dignity and individual rights. Llew's achievements evoke the high principles and noble tradition associated with Judge Learned Hand: protecting the rights of the individual and protecting the values and orderly processes of a democratic society.
Michael Posner, US Assistant Secretary of State for Human Rights served as the Keynote Speaker. Stanford Professor and former clerk for Judge Hand, Thomas Ehrlich, provided special remarks. The event was co-chaired by Bill Neukom and Bill Gates, Sr.
